Role and Responsibilities as a Project Manager / Scrum Master:

  1. Project Planning: Develop and maintain project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  2. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks. Develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
  3. Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on team progress using relevant Agile metrics. Provide visibility into the team's work and progress.
  4. Team Leadership: Build and lead cross-functional teams. Provide motivation, guidance, and support to team members.
  5. Quality Assurance: Define and implement quality standards for project deliverables. Monitor and ensure adherence to quality processes.
  6. Client Interaction: Act as a primary point of contact for clients or stakeholders. Manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
  7. Change Management: Handle changes to project scope, schedule, and costs. Evaluate the impact of changes and communicate adjustments to the team.
  8. Scrum Process Facilitation: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, backlog management. Ensure that Scrum processes are followed and understood by the team.
  9. Product Owner Collaboration: Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize and manage the product backlog. Ensure the team understands and works towards achieving the product vision.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement within the team. Conduct retrospectives to identify areas for improvement.
